Horton Plains National Park

Situated in Sri Lanka’s central highlands, Horton Plains National Park is a protected area characterized by montane grasslands and cloud forests. At an elevation of over 2,000 meters, it is home to a rich diversity of flora and fauna, some of which are endemic to the region.

A highlight of the park is the renowned “World’s End,” a sheer cliff with a drop of about 900 meters, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The park also features Baker’s Falls, a picturesque waterfall nestled within the forest.
